چکیده
Maternal fetal leakage (FMH) is a well-known cause of anemia. We define it as the transition erythrocytes into maternal circulation. Its severity determined by measuring level hemoglobin in mother's blood using Kleinhauer-Betke test or cytometric method (FCM). The paper presents case newborn with massive maternal-fetal leakage. Kleinhauer result was greater than 5% cells, and initial neonatal 3.5 g / dl. Correct treatment anemia presented. additional studies performed allowed for exclusion other causes extremely severe condition after delivery. Early diagnosis fetal-maternal leak its through execution.

Chronic massive fetomaternal hemorrhage: a case report.
We report a case of massive chronic fetomaternal hemorrhage with remarkable fetal compensation. The labor course was complicated by a fetal heart rate pattern showing decreased long- and short-term variability and the eventual development of persistent late decelerations. The fetal scalp blood pH and cord blood pH values were normal. A living male infant was delivered by cesarean section for pe...
متن کاملFetomaternal Hemorrhage: A Review after a Case Report
Fetomaternal hemorrhage consists in the transmission of fetal blood cells to the mother’s bloodstream. If it is quite common in small volumes – occurring in most pregnancies – large volumes of fetomaternal hemorrhage can have serious consequences. Some risk factors are identified, but they are not always present. Decreased perception of fetal movements is the most important clinical sign, toget...
متن کاملMassive Fetomaternal Hemorrhage Caused by an Intraplacental Choriocarcinoma: A Case Report
Background. Intraplacental choriocarcinoma is a rare but highly malignant trophoblastic neoplasm. When found near term the risk of maternal metastasis is high because of the late diagnosis. Case. We describe a case of an intraplacental choriocarcinoma diagnosed postpartum after a near-term delivery of a severely anemic infant. A fetomaternal hemorrhage resulted in a hemoglobin concentration in ...
متن کاملLong-term persistent fetomaternal hemorrhage
It is not clear that how long the affected fetuses can tolerate fetomaternal hemorrhage (FMH). Incidental serial measurements of the fetal peak systolic velocity of the middle cerebral artery and the retrospective analysis of stocked blood available incidentally indicated that our patient had suffered from FMH for at least 2 weeks prior to delivery.
متن کاملPrenatal diagnosis of acute massive fetomaternal hemorrhage.
We present here 2 cases of acute and 2 cases of chronic massive fetomaternal hemorrhage. A sinusoidal fetal heart rate pattern may indicate chronic fetomaternal hemorrhage, but, when increased variability is observed in fetal monitoring, maternal hemoglobin F should be measured to exclude acute fetomaternal hemorrhage.
